When you're stuck for ideas it is often a good idea to pick a project like the ones listed and just try it; often by doing something like this, ideas and motivation will follow.
There is evidence that 'motivation follows action'; not the reverse. So if you do something, it creates a motivation. But if you wait until inspiration strikes, you may not do anything at all. One artist (I forget who) said, "Inspiration is for amateurs. I just get to work."
