In association with Beyond Words Photographic Book shop, Bruce Percy will be launching his first photographic monograph at the McDonald Road Library, Edinburgh (just of Leith Walk) on the 28th of November (6:30 to 8pm - talk from 7 to 7:30).
Michael Kenna has provided an enlightening preface to Bruce's book, about the process of photography, and amongst other things, their shared appreciation for Scottish Whisky!
Bruce Percy is a travel and landscape photographer. His images have been used by National Geographic Traveler magazine, the Icelandic post office, American Express and the Sir Edmund Hilary foundation in New Zealand to name a few.
His first photographic monograph is a nice large square format book, with delicately beautifully printed images from his travels to Cambodia, Chilean & Argentine Patagonia, Nepal, Northern India, Iceland, Lofoten Islands in Norway to name a few.
The book signing event is open to all, free admission.
