HNC - Captions and keywords

For the HNC unit, Location Stock, you need to add captions, keywords and your own details to your picture files. This is necessary for pictures that are being submitted to stock photography agencies to enable them to locate and sell the pictures from their collection. It is also necessary to help you to keep track of your pictures, and is an important part of digital 'workflow'. It should become one of the first things that you do with your pictures, as soon as you load them up to the computer from your camera.
Adding captions and keywords and your name (often called 'metadata') is part of the assessment. All digital work from now on should have file information filled in.
