Desktop publishing (DTP) is the creation of things like magazine covers, leaflets and CD covers, using pictures and text. The first task to try is to create your own CD cover, so that when you hand in work digitally on CD, you have a clearly labelled cover.

You will be using the Text tool and layers.

This might not take long, so if you find it easy, make a music CD album cover. See if you can change the shape of the text, or find ways of blending the text with the pictures...
