Too much Photoshopping

Petapixel.com has lots of good stories about all aspects of photography. Here's one about the winner of the Landscape Photographer of the Year who has been stripped of the title, and the cash prize, because his winning picture had been Photoshopped too much.
The argument is that photographs need to have a close relationship to the real subject. If they are altered so much,
they stop being photographs and instead are digital imaging, or illustration. It isn't the same thing, and the boundary between the two is not always obvious.
