HNC_Block2 Part2 - Travelogue

A very typical use of stock photographs is to illustrate travel in books, magazines, newspaper features and adverts. 
Lonely Planet for example use a lot of stock photography and their website has tips on photography:

For Block 2 projects, I will be asking you to produce photography for the stock photo agency, "Travelogue.  


Assessment Brief 1: Submission date to be finalised

The stock agency ‘Travelogue’ is accepting photographs for submission.
The agency distributes images to travel guides and publications worldwide. They stock pictures on the life, landscapes, culture, architecture, work and leisure of the countries and cities that they feature.

They require colour digital images that show ‘atmospheric locations’.

They don’t like to admit it, but ‘Travelogue’ base their ‘atmospheric locations’ collections on the work found in http://www.trevillion.com

They require a submission of 12 atmospheric images shot on location, suitable for the Trevillion style.

QC (quality control)require high-res tiffs, low-res jpegs, and layererd high res files showing your image editing.

An adjustment layer showing local colour corrections is required.
