DTP

Here's a reminder of what you've been doing in desk-top publishing. Each of these needs to be handed in to me to assess:
1-A CD cover
2 - A photograph with title and text like this:

3-The Metro Paris exercise:

4- A4 layouts with pictures and text like this:

5 -The DTP fact-finding exercise, where you answered questions about DTP from useful websites.
6 - Your own versions of Vogue covers (or another magazine)

What you need to now is use the same techniques of placing text and pictures to design 3 documents:
  • an A5 sized advert for you as a photographer to go in a magazine;
  • an A4 leaflet to send to customers who respond to the advert. The leaflet should contain at least two samples of your pictures;
  • a business card, sized at 6x4 inches.
Each of these must have:
  • the same fonts and typefaces
  • the same colours
  • the same basic design and layout
  • your name, contact details and style of photography

So, for example, you could create some thing like this, with a set of images, a transparent background image, and colour boxes, plus text. These 'design elements' should be present in each of the documents.

Remember, a good source of magazines is www.issuu.com
