http://issuu.com/ is a source of online magazines. Many organisations and publishers upload their magazines, in full or in part, and you can view them page by page. It's a fantastic way to browse through loads of useful magazines for research and information and it is also useful to see the different styles of layout and design, which is what DTP is all about.
Task- find a front page of a magazine that you like, and try to make your own version of it in Photoshop.
Use the techniques that we tried last week - make a new Photoshop document at A4 at 300ppi, copy and paste your photographs, and use the text tool to add titles and headlines - the National Geographic, for example...
